REWRITING HISTORY

Through its project The End of Truth, Beyond_Human delves into the critical issues of image manipulation and the rewriting of visual narratives. Among its various series, ReWriting History examines our relationship with history by recreating iconic photographs while subtly altering their content. By replicating historical images identically but introducing a twist—such as replacing central figures with women—Beyond_Human intentionally blurs familiar reference points. This visual reinterpretation creates a sense of disturbance and ambiguity, where truth and fabrication become intertwined, challenging our perception of authenticity.

By highlighting the dilemmas and disruptions caused by these altered images, Beyond_Human sheds light on the influence of contemporary technologies on our understanding of truth. Confronted with such representations, a vital question arises: in a world flooded with falsified images, what testimony of our past will be passed on to future generations? Can we still believe in the truth of images?

LEGO CHALLENGE 1978

Through its project The End of Truth, Beyond_Human has developed several series, including Lego Challenge, 1978. With this series, Beyond_Human intentionally blurs the lines by exploring the digressions of reality and reinventing strange, past or future events that, although fictional, appear eerily authentic. Using humor to present images of unsettling authenticity hovering between the strange, the bizarre, and the incongruous—Beyond_Human creates confusion and highlights the dilemmas posed by these visuals and the disorder they can generate. Our ability to distinguish truth from fiction seems compromised, and the boundary is no longer clear.
Can we still trust the truth of images?

COLLECTIVE BEHAVIOR AND CONTAGION THEORY

This work draws inspiration from crowd psychology, its representation, and the dynamics of collective behavior. It is based on AIdriven experimentation and interpretation of movement, the body, and the duplication of individuals. The AI generates the crowd’s behavior, intentions, and individual expressions, creating a form of contagion where each entity appears to influence the other.

Through this process, the AI composes a multitude of individuals who, despite their similar gestures and morphologies, each retain their unique singularity. As a result, a subtle group choreography emerges, giving birth to a balanced and hypnotic ballet.

BEYOND HUMAN

Beyond Human, a pioneering AI artist, explores new aesthetics and the relationship between humans and technology, with a focus on identity. His series, such as ‘Mr. Noodles’ and ‘Confined Spaces’, tackle the quest for identity and the collective unconscious with humor and irony. Oscillating between reality and fiction, his art questions the authenticity of images and highlights contemporary dilemmas surrounding the representation of reality, creating works that are both uncanny and authentic.
