Through a set of parameters that you can adjust by turning knobs and pushing sliders, an artificial intelligence will immediately generate a life you could have lived and then print it on a small note of paper.
You find your power’s limit when you realize you cannot choose what you have influence over. Some parameters might seem more direct while others are more abstract. Some let you choose between a rock and a hard place, and some do not seem to matter at all.
The complexity is so vast and the parameters are so intricate that you cannot sort them. You cannot deduce that one parameter has more importance than another: life seems to depend on unexpected initial values.
